Blackhawk Tour

This Thursday Jan 23^rd at 9.30am Viv Harris is conducting a tour of the Blackhawk helicopters. If you would like to be included in seeing the Blackhawks up close and talking to the pilots about the operations they perform, please send him a text 0408 949 664 and he’ll put you on the list. We will muster at the clubhouse from 9.15am and walk across at approx. 9.30am.  As the weather over the next few days is going to be hot please come suitably attired with hats and sunblock. The temp on Thursday morning is predicted to be 33°C by 10am. As it is the height of the fire season there is a probability that the helicopters may not be there as they may be already on a fire or called into action while we are there if they are made active to fight a fire. This we cannot control but, if this does occur Viv has have planned with the pilots to do another tour on a Saturday morning in 2-3 weeks hopefully when it is cooler and as some people can’t attend on a weekday.
